The Sage Distribution and Manufacturing Operations Certified Consultant validates the candidate has the knowledge and skills to analyze the customers' needs and work competently in implementing and using the Stock, Manufacturing, Sales and Purchasing modules along with defining all necessary setup requirements in Sage Distribution and Manufacturing Operations. Through a series of hands-on interactive learning courses the consultant demonstrates the skills learned in implementing and using the program including, but not limited to, defining a company, business entity, and site information, setting up users and defining roles, setting up Sales, Purchasing, Stock and Manufacturing including location information, customers and suppliers, pricing structures, stock items, costing method, purchase requisitions and order, MRP calculations, shipments and delivery, invoicing, returns, sales and purchasing approval process, stock counts, Bill of materials, work orders, routings, and material, item, and production tracking. Candidates who have earned this credential have demonstrated their skills through completion of an exam. This credential may require periodic assessment of skills and knowledge and renews on an annual basis.
